BACKGROUND — THE PROJECT
Fencepoint was appointed to supply fencing materials for the construction of a new tennis court facility in Perthshire, Scotland. The project required a high-quality perimeter solution that would provide excellent ball containment, a clean aesthetic suited to a sports and leisure setting, and long-term durability in the Scottish climate.
THE CHALLENGE — PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
The tennis court required a fencing system tall enough to contain overhit balls while remaining visually unobtrusive within the surrounding landscape. The client needed a robust, rigid mesh panel that would resist repeated ball impact without distortion, finished in green to complement the court environment. Reliable supply and accurate specification were essential to keep the project on programme.
OUR SOLUTION — FENCEPOINT’S APPROACH
Fencepoint specified the Armex868 Twin Mesh system at 3.0m height in green powder coat — a product well suited to sports applications thanks to its twin horizontal wire construction, superior rigidity, and high-quality finish. Stock was confirmed and logistics coordinated for delivery to the Perthshire site within the client’s programme. A dedicated Fencepoint contact managed the order from enquiry through to delivery.
