Fencepoint was proud to support a local school in improving the safety and security of its playing fields. The school’s existing perimeter fencing had become old, worn, and no longer fit for purpose. This created not only a safety concern for pupils but also a security risk for the school grounds. 

To address this, we supplied robust palisade fencing, chosen for its strength, durability, and long service life. 

One of the key challenges in this project was how to manage the delivery and storage of fencing materials. The site was a public, open space, and leaving large quantities of materials unsecured on the ground would have posed both safety and security risks. Working closely with the customer, Fencepoint developed a practical solution: we stored the fencing on our premises and arranged for the contractor to collect the exact quantity of items needed for each day’s work. 

This daily collection system offered several benefits. It ensured that the site remained clear and secure, with no surplus materials left unattended. It also streamlined the installation process for the contractor, who had access to the right amount of fencing each day without needing to manage or secure excess stock. This approach not only reduced risk but also helped the project run more smoothly and efficiently. 

By the end of the project, the school had a brand-new perimeter fence that provided peace of mind to staff, pupils, and parents. The new boundary fencing created a safe environment for children to enjoy their outdoor activities, while also ensuring the playing fields remained protected from unauthorised access.
