Whether you’re planning a new fencing project, comparing systems, or just want to make sure you’re choosing the right solution, we know there’s a lot to consider.
Below, we’ve answered some of the most common questions we’re asked about our fencing systems, ordering process, and project support. If you don’t see your question here, our team is always happy to help, just get in touch.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery times can be very flexible, depending on what works best for your project. From the point of dispatch, deliveries typically take between 24-48 hours. However, we understand that not every project runs on the same timeline. In some cases, we can deliver next day, while for others delivery may be scheduled 4-6 weeks after the order is confirmed. Our Sales Desk team will keep you fully informed throughout the process and will always do their best to accommodate any last-minute changes where possible.
Can you supply fencing across the UK?
Yes, we supply fencing materials across the UK. While a large portion of our customer base is currently located in the Midlands and around London, our delivery process remains the same nationwide. For locations further afield, deliveries are usually scheduled a few days in advance to ensure everything runs smoothly.
How are your materials delivered?
We typically operate on a point-to-point delivery basis. This means a transport company collects your order directly from our yard and delivers it straight to your chosen site or delivery location.
We work with a small number of trusted transport partners to ensure reliability. Standard deliveries require suitable offload facilities on site, but where needed, we can also arrange a Moffett offload for an additional charge.
What is the cost of transport?
Transport costs vary depending on several factors, including the delivery location, the size of the order (part load or full load), and how quickly the materials are required. We always aim to remain competitive on transport pricing and work closely with our clients to ensure they’re getting the best possible value for their delivery.
Do you stock gates?
At the moment, we don’t stock gates. However, this is something we’re actively working on, and we’ll be sharing more details on this project very soon, so watch this space.
Can I request a fencing sample?
Yes, absolutely. We have sample boards available for all of our fencing styles. These can be sent out to installers or end users, making it easier to show clients the different options available and get a real feel for the quality of our products before placing an order.
Where are your materials manufactured?
Our supply chain is global, but the majority of our materials are sourced from Europe. This allows us to maintain consistent quality while ensuring reliable availability across our product range.
What fencing products do you keep in stock?
We currently stock four mesh fencing systems: V-Mesh, 358 Prison Mesh, 656 Twin Mesh, and 868 Twin Mesh. All products are available in two standard colours – Green (RAL 6005) and Black (RAL 9005).
To suit a wide range of applications, our fencing panels are stocked in four heights: 1.8m, 2.0m, 2.4m, and 3.0m.
What is Armex?
Armex is a wholly owned and registered brand of Fencepoint. It’s the name used across our full mesh fencing range, helping to clearly identify each system.
The Armex range includes Armex45 (V-Mesh), Armex358 (358 Prison Mesh), Armex656 (656 Twin Mesh), and Armex868 (868 Twin Mesh).
What wire thickness is used on your V-Mesh fencing?
Our Armex45 V-Mesh panels are manufactured using a 4mm vertical wire and a 5mm horizontal wire. This combination provides excellent strength and rigidity while still keeping the panels light enough for efficient handling and installation on site.
