Delivery, stock and products

How long does delivery take?
From dispatch, deliveries typically take 24 to 48 hours. We can often deliver next day on core lines, or schedule delivery weeks ahead to suit your programme. Our sales desk keeps you informed throughout and will always try to accommodate last-minute changes.
Can you supply fencing across the UK?
Yes. We deliver fencing materials UK-wide from our Kirkcaldy yard. The delivery process is the same everywhere; for locations further afield, deliveries are usually booked a few days in advance.
How are your materials delivered?
We deliver point to point: a trusted transport partner collects your order from our yard and delivers it straight to site. Standard deliveries need suitable offload facilities on site, but we can arrange a Moffett (truck-mounted forklift) offload for an additional charge.
What does transport cost?
Transport depends on the delivery location, the size of the order (part or full load) and how quickly you need it. We keep transport pricing competitive and include it clearly in your quote.
Do you stock gates?
Yes. We stock Armex868 twin mesh single leaf (1.2m wide) and double leaf (3m to 6m wide) gates in 1.8m, 2.0m and 2.4m heights, in black or green. See our security gates page for full sizes.
Can I request a fencing sample?
Yes. We have sample boards for all our fencing systems, which can be sent to installers or end users so they can see and feel the quality before ordering.
Where are your materials manufactured?
Our supply chain is global, but most of our materials are sourced from Europe, giving consistent quality and reliable availability.
What fencing do you keep in stock?
We stock four mesh fencing systems: V mesh, 358 prison mesh, 656 twin mesh and 868 twin mesh, in Green (RAL 6005) and Black (RAL 9005), and in 1.8m, 2.0m, 2.4m and 3.0m heights (V mesh to 2.4m).
What is Armex?
Armex is Fencepoint's own registered brand for its mesh fencing range: Armex45 (V mesh), Armex358 (358 prison mesh), Armex656 (656 twin mesh) and Armex868 (868 twin mesh and gates).
What wire thickness is used on your V mesh fencing?
Armex45 V mesh panels use a 4mm vertical wire and a 5mm horizontal wire, giving strength and rigidity while keeping panels light enough to handle efficiently on site.
Do you install fencing?
No. Fencepoint is a supply-only merchant. We supply panels, posts, gates and fixings to the contractors and installers who fit them.
